How do I know if an article is considered peer reviewed?

The most thorough way to find if an article is peer reviewed is to visit the journal publisher's website, locate the journal title, and read the section about the journal which will indicate if submissions to that journal go through a peer review process. In addition, articles from PubMed are peer reviewed. Use the peer reviewed limiter in other databases to limit your search to peer reviewed articles only. See the Tutorials research guide for a database for more instructions.
